Want to know the secret to discovering your passion and creating a life full of purpose, meaning and fun?

Well, I guess it is more of a process than a single action-so let’s call it a Secret Process! That sounds much more intriguing.

I promise you that this Secret Process will help you connect to your life’s purpose AND create a Kick-Ass Life. It’s a double whammy!

And it’s pretty simple, but it’s something that is severely lacking in many people’s lives.

The secret process is this- Spend some time getting to know YOU on a much deeper level.

Explore everything that interests you.

Experiment a lot and try things on for size.

Evaluate your experiences to see what works and feels good to you, and do more of those things.

This is a hands on activity and requires you to take the time to explore and actively experience many different things so you can determine what your good at, lights your fire and gets your juices flowing.

Give yourself permission to break free of what you normally do and explore some new things. If a topic interests you; learn all you can about it.

Follow that spark and see if it lights your soul on fire.

As you go through this process keep notes on what you discover, and be sure to do more of the things that you’re good at and that you enjoy doing. As you begin to bring more of these things into your life, you will notice that your life will begin to feel very Kick-Ass!

Your passion and purpose will surface and become obvious to you as you get to know yourself on a much deeper level.

Try it out and  let me know what happens!

Getting UnStuck

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Here is something for you to think about today-

Being stuck happens when you keep looking at what is.

You tell the same story over and over again.

You can’t see past what is right in front of you.

Your energy feels tight and constricted and your trapped in the energy of what is, or at least what you think it is.

What happens if you shift your focus to what you want to happen instead?

You look towards the solution.

You call up the energy of how you want to feel and you imagine already being inside of the solution.

Things start to shift and expand and a bunch of new possibilities begin to open up in front of you.

Suddenly your energy is shifting and you feel the space to move and expand into something else, and then your not stuck anymore.

Yhea…..that feels better.

The Amazing Awesomeness of My Right People

Posted by: | Comments (4)

Imagine being surrounded by your right people. The ones who totally get you, love you, appreciate your uniqueness, are eager to hear what you come up with next, and say “Hell Yhea!” to your big dreams.

How would you describe them?

My right people are creative, unique individuals who have their own thing going on. You won’t find them following the crowd –unless it is leading them to a fun party.

They don’t follow the trends- they create them.

They’re intelligent, courageous and self-reflective. They like to explore the inner workings of their mind and aren’t afraid to look inside of the scary dark places that no one else dare go. They are up for deep, meaningful conversations full of intimacy and vulnerability.

They are spiritual, know that there are many paths to enlightenment, and enjoy exploring their own consciousness to discover what is right for them.

They are powerful and they know it. They take full responsibility for their own outcomes and are busy living out their dreams.

They’re fun and playful! They laugh-a lot-and poke fun at the ridiculousness of life. They don’t take themselves too seriously and are more likely to laugh if they screw up than cry.

They are kinky and a bit naughty and enjoy a bit of debauchery from time to time.

They speak their truth and expect me to speak mine.

They are amazing, fine folks who bring so much fun, meaning and satisfaction to my life. I appreciate them and they appreciate me.

Your turn!  Describe your right people in the comments below.

It’s Time for Amplification Friday!

Posted by: | Comments (15)

How often do you take the time to sit back and bask in appreciation for the good things in your life?

Doing so adds a big boost to your Kick-Ass Creation process. By basking in your good feelings you are amplifying that energy and sending a powerful message to the Universe that says-MORE OF THIS PLEASE!

This is why I’ve created Amplification Friday!

We’ve been doing this for the past year or so over on my Facebook Fan page and it occurred to me that it would be really cool to do it here too.

Would you care to join me in a bit of basking?

I invite you to sit back and reflect on your week. Think about everything that you appreciated in it.

Include all the different aspects in your life….people, places, things and your job.

Don’t forget to find something to appreciate about yourself too!

Now that you have all of these wonderful thoughts, take 5 minutes to bask in the juicy good feelings that thinking of these things brings.

How did that feel?

I invite you to share what you appreciate in the comments below to put a bit more power behind it.

I encourage you to spread the love by sharing it with your friends.

I’ll  start things off: I appreciate the freedom that I have in my life! I can pretty much do what ever I want when I want. I love the ability that I have to get up and focus my attention on what excites me and interests me for the day. I get to follow my bliss and it rocks! I’m also in deep appreciation for the amazing people in my life. I am surrounded by the most creative, interesting, caring people who pursue their passions and love to have a good time! What are you appreciating from your week?

The Source of Your Creative Power

Posted by: | Comments (0)

The other night I was listening to MOTH Radio and one of the performers was Aimee Mullins. She is a paraplegic who refused to hide who she was in order to make other people comfortable. I found her talk so inspiring that I looked it up on the MOTH website so that I could listen again. The same talk aired on NPR the next day while I was in the car so I knew it had a special message for me.

I know, I just wrote a post about Aimee last week, but this chick is inspiring and her story keeps popping up for me so I’m going with it.

Aimee embraced the fact that her legs were amputated below the knee  and decided to have fun with it. She wouldn’t settle for the typical prosthetic legs that were available to her. The options were extremely limited.

She decided that she was having conversations about what was possible for her legs with the wrong people and set out to find people who would say “yes” to her ideas.

She sought out the people who would see the potential and the possibilities rather than the limitation of having no lower legs.

Looking for the right people opened up a world of possibilities and opportunities for her.

She became the fastest paraplegic women in the world with some new sprinting legs.

She walked the Paris runways in fashion shows with beautifully carved wooden legs and feathered legs. She could pick what height she wanted to be. She acted in film and TV and now is a key note speaker and an inspiration to people all over the world.

All this happened because she wouldn’t settle. She wanted to do more with her life.

Aimee embraced what made her different and allowed it to make her extraordinary and exceptional.

We all have something about us that makes us different. For the most part we have been taught to hide those parts of us away so that we fit in and be normal. We don’t want to make other people uncomfortable so we make ourselves uncomfortable by hiding who we are and not allowing ourselves to be fully self expressed.

I like what Aimee has to say about this-

“When we celebrate and truly own what it is that makes us different we are able to find the source of our greatest creative power. “

What would happen if you embraced what made you different?

What might be possible for you?

You can listen to the story told by Aimee by using the player below. Her story is the first 15 minutes of the show.
