HI Michelle,

I am glad that you find this helpful.

I hear what you are saying about slipping back into complaining about what you don't want. I used to exist in that place. Sometimes I still find myself going down that path. What I find to be the most helpful thing when I am there is to start using what I don't want as a point of contrast and I do my best to flip it around to what I do want.
Do I think that I will ever get to a place where I do not complain or focus on what I don't want?
Maybe not........BUT I do know that now I notice when I am doing it very quickly and am excellent at using the contrast to shift my focus to what I want.
That is what I suggest you aim for.
Rock On!

I'm glad to have come across your blog. This is something that I'm working on. It's a hard habit to change, though....I find that I'll try to focus on what I want, but then slip back into complaining about what I don't want. I'll have to keep checking back here for reinforcement.
