I think we have it backwards…..
Posted by: | CommentsWhat if creating your kick-ass dream life is more about how you want to feel in your life than the things that you want to have?
When I talk to people about their kick-ass dream life, they tend to go right into describing what it will look like to them and all the things that are in it. They tell me about the cool career that they will have, and the awesome house and all the things that they will do. Once they have all these things THEN their life will feel totally kick-ass!
I think that this approach is backwards. It is extremely limiting and gives way too much power to the material things in your life.
If you are honest with yourself, the reason why you want these things; be it a job, house, or car, is because you think that you will feel a certain way once you have it.
And it might be true that all those things will make your life kick-ass, but I imagine that there are all kinds of things yet to be discovered that would work for you too.
What if you started off with being really clear on how you want to feel in your life, and create from there?
If you commit to looking for the things in your life that feel really good to you, then you can more easily build your kick-ass life around you.
I find that when you are tapped into how you want to feel, and you look for the things that allow you to feel that way, the possibilities expand and it becomes much easier to start living your kick-ass life right now.
What does your kick-ass dream life feel like to you?
Thought for the day: You Never get it done.
Posted by: | CommentsWhen the desire is born, right away you start counting yourselves a failure, because you’ve got this desire that hasn’t been satisfied. Know that you never get it done! And since you never get it done, it’s time to stop being unhappy about what’s undone, because most of it is undone! You are an eternal being. Most of it is undone. Instead of taking score about what’s been achieved — we want you to start feeling anticipation about what is still to arrive…

I like this.
Wanting something, or having a feeling of desire for something often leads you down the path of focusing on what is missing.
I know that I used to get caught up in the feeling of lack around what I wanted. I would have a desire for something different to show up in my life and then I would spend my time noticing how it was not there yet and trying to ‘figure out’ what I needed to do to make it show up.
When I started going deep into working with the Law of Attraction and Manifestation, I realized that by focusing on how things were not showing up yet, I was basically keeping what i wanted from coming into my experience.
It is all about the energy that I am embodying, and when I notice what is not showing up or is missing, and I focus attention there…even if I am tying to ‘make it happen’…. I am really just noticing the lack and that is what I get more of. What you focus on expands into your reality.
This is where faith and trust in the process comes in. Now I operate from the place of knowing that the Universe is conspiring with me to bring me all that I desire. My job is to have the desire for something and feel the energy of it. Then sit back and enjoy the ride.

Does this sound like you?
Works leaves you drained, demoralized and exhausted from hiding who you really are. As a result, you feel too exhausted to spend time on what really matters to you so you numb out most nights with TV, drinks, or whatever else that distracts you from thinking about the daily stuff that feels yucky. You don’t have to live this way.
Join me and my guest, Leah Shapiro (www.defythebox.com) and discover a bold, new way of living that gives you freedom, authenticity and great money. Why Not Go Straight To Happy?
Posted by: | CommentsWhat does the word career mean to you?
How about Life’s work?
Some people hold the belief that their career should be their life’s work. Built into this is the pre-packaged belief that you choose a career and expect to live happily ever after within one topic forever more.
Sounds kind of limiting. If I think back, my interests have grown, shifted and expanded many times over. I believe this is our essential nature, to grow and expand our desires and interests. If this is true, it would make sense that many of us go through periods of finding ourselves in jobs that no longer serve us or not being able to focus on one topic of interest for very long.
This often leads to confusion and stress, and the people around you wondering when you are going to get it together, make a decision, and settle down. That is what you are SUPPOSED to do right?
Well, what if you decided to make your career/life’s work the pursuit of happiness? If you are going to live forever more in one topic, then it might as well be something that feels good.
What if you made it your job to align yourself with activites and events that made you feel alive, tapped in and inspired ?
Some may ask " what about making money?"
Try this idea on for size: For many of you, money = happiness and freedom. So if you are doing your job and feeling good then the money will naturally show up. That is what Law of Attraction is all about. You get more of your primary thoughts and feelings.
I suggest making a "career" out of living a happy life and not focusing on finding a job that will produce enough income so that you can then do the things that you think will make you happy. Why not go straight to happy?
