When you find vibrational alignment with You, you personally thrive. You feel good; you look good; you have stamina; you have energy; you have balance; you have clarity; you have wit; you have abundance of all things that you consider to be good. You thrive in all ways when you come into Energy Balance with You. Vibrational Relativity – that’s what it’s all about.
Abraham-Hicks

Feeling good = being in alignment and in the flow.

Feeling bad means that you are out of alignment and bumping up against all kinds of stuff.

Resistance means that you are out of alignment, or you might be in alignment, but you are dragging your feet and digging in your heels so much you can not move forward . If you do happen to move forward while still in resistance, it is a very bumpy ride.

Take a minute and answer these questions below in the comment section:

Where in your life do you feel like you are in alignment?

Where do you feel like you are  offering resistance?

In order to find personal freedom you must first become aware of what you are, where you are, and what you want to become. Otherwise you are just flying blind and going where ever the fog in your mind takes you. In Toltec wisdom, this is called the Mastery of Awareness or the Mastery of Truth.

Let me lay it down for you; We are all living in a dream state. Everyone is living out their own personal dream made up of the stories that you tell yourself about who you are, how the world works, and what is possible for you. In most cases, these stories are made up of past experiences, assumptions and your taking everything personally. You use all of your creative power to create a dream that sets you up to suffer for the rest of your life.

Once you become aware that you are living in a dream state and you are the one creating the story line of it, you become empowered to re-write the story in a way that feels good and lets the joy, prosperity and fun into your life.

What the Hell is The “Box”?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Defy the Box??? I don’t even know what the Box is.

Let’s start at the beginning.

“What exactly is this Box that you are talking about?”

We all live in a box. This box is made up of your thoughts and beliefs about how the world works and what is possible. These thoughts and beliefs are the lens that you perceive your experiences through. It becomes the container that you live your life from.

The question is: Is it a box of your own design?

For many people, the box is designed by someone else. It is made from ideas and beliefs handed down to us by our families, culture and society. It is made of the fear your parents carried about not having enough money and that thing your grandmother always said about being a good girl or boy. The box is created by the images we see on TV and in the media telling us how we should “dress for success” or what we need to be one of the “cool kids”.

What is the one thing that all these thoughts and beliefs have in common?

They are unexamined by you.

At some point you began to believe that they were true, or that it is just the way the world works. This is an unconscious process. The end result is that you end up living in a box created by someone else.

How does yours fit?

Are you comfortable in it?

Do you have enough breathing room?

Is there room for you to expand?

How might you go about redesigning it to fit you perfectly?

The Underground

Posted by: | Comments (0)

” The mainstream comes to you, but you have to go to the Underground.”
~Frank Zappa

I had an “aha” moment when I read this quote today.

It is so true.

The mainstream is full of “pre-packaged” ideas about what people need to be happy. These ideas are handed to us over and over again through the media until we begin to believe that it is the truth and how things work in the world. I took a class in collage about the media and how it influences public opinion. There is a deliberateness to the way information and ideas are scattered around and retold until they become the “truth”.

Buying into the mainstream culture does not require any thought on our part. It seems that it can easily engulf us and convince us that we need not look any further for happiness. But I know that is not true! Happiness is not a one size fits all kind of thing.

For me, identifying what makes me happy is a process. It is about tuning into what feels good and inspires me. It is a process of exploration, going out and looking for other people exploring new ideas and ways of living, and trying things on for size. On my journey, I have explored many Underground cultures, and inside of them have found parts of myself that I never would have accesses if I did not go looking for them.

Underground cultures are edgy and boundary pushing compared to the mainstream! The people who seek them out are discovering what works for them and doing it their way. My best friends are the people I have met in these communities. I appreciate them because they are not afraid to embrace the parts of themselves that are different from the mainstream. They bring fresh new ideas and possibilities into their word and are not afraid to break the Box wide open!
