Does Money and Spirituality Mix?
ByI keep hearing this same story over and over.
It’s the one that says you are not supposed to charge money for healing work.
Especially if your work is spiritual in nature.
Where did this story come from?
I say it is a bunch of CRAP.
Money has no negative effect on healing or Spirituality.
Money is just another form of energy. It is not the root of all evil as some folks will have you think.
When you provide a service to someone,weather it be teaching, healing, or providing a safe space, you deserve a fair energy exchange for your time and efforts.
How might we re-write this story about money and Spirituality so that it encourages and supports people in offering their talents to heal the world?
What would that look like to you?

Right on! I agree. The correct quote to the Bible quote you are referring to is the LOVE of MONEY is the root of all evil aka greed. I like to think of money as seed to grow, nuture, and give, in order to get to do more of the fun things in life like travel, party with friends, help more people to bust out into a free life. I hear this one alot too. Why shouldn’t we get paid for services rendered like anyone else?
